Temas Verdes (Things Green) is the Spanish speaking counterpart to Things Green with Nick Federoff only it’s hosted by nurseryman Ricardo Ortiz owner Ricardo’s Nursery in Long Beach and the program is completely in Spanish!
About:
Born in Oaxaca, Mexico, he came to the United States in 1993. Throughout the years his passion and love for nature led him to open the 9-acre plant paradise Ricardo’s Nursery in 2007 which is a wholesale nursery that extends its services to individuals, landscapers, and other wholesale and retail nurseries in the Southern California area (everyone is welcome!).
Awards:
Ricardo’s Nursery has received a great number of awards throughout the years such as Best of Long Beach Award in the Garden Centers category by the Long Beach Award Program Committee from 2012 - 2017, Excellence in Business Award, The Mayor's Award, just to name a few.

Ricardo has been featured many times on the award winning PBS television show, Things Green. It is for this reason we are expanding the offering for Spanish language gardening through television and online venues working parallel with Things Green with Nick Federoff.
