Cats In The Garden

Here kitty kitty kitty.  Would you stay out of the garden.  Do you have cat problems in your garden? Our fuzzy feline friends aren’t that cute and cuddly when they use the yard and garden for a porta-potty.
And, since we can’t stand guard chasing them away with golf course language twenty-four hours a day, what do you do?  Well, one thing is for sure, not all methods of keeping cats out of planter beds works 100%.

So, you’ll have to change your methods of keeping them out on a regular basis.

One angle is to use crushed mothballs sprinkled on top of the soil.  They don’t like the smell.

Remember that cats are intelligent.  With this in mind, liberally apply cayenne pepper to cat infested area’s.  Once they get a hot seat from squatting in the stuff – they stay away for a while.

Around vegetables, place pine branches around your plants.  Cats don’t like the scent or the pokey needles.  Commercial repellents are available from your local nursery that can be spread throughout the yard and garden.
