Color Cotton

12/7/2015

Did you know that all cotton is white - NOT.  Cotton. In the olden days, you'd have to dye your fabric to get the color you want.  Not so today.
Modern technology does have some advantages and who would have thought cotton would be a recipient?

There are reds, yellows, browns, gray, and a whole lot more.  Enough so you don't have to dye your own, when you're mastering hobbies like fiber yarn weaving.  And, you never have to worry about fading or bleeding.

Now the bad news, some states have put a quarantine on growing it, so if you have notions about growing your own, better check closely to make sure your state has no rules about it.

I've been dealing with states that have the "no color cotton rule" and even though I'd like to do a display garden to show each grade and color and bring it to your neighborhood, they won't let me do it.
