Spice Up a Chain Link Fence

1/18/2016

So what do you think, is there really a way to make a chain link fence look nice? You know how plants have Latin names to describe what they are? For instance, a Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow plant is technically called "Brunfelsia calysina Floribunda." Chain-link fences also have a scientific name that I like to call "Chainus linkus ugliest."
Okay that's just something that I made up but the point of the matter is chain-link fences are not very pretty so what do we do to spice them up?

You'd be surprised what a coat of paint can do to a chain-link fence. Make sure that it's clean then with a rust prohibiting paint spray on any color that suits your fancy.

For privacy, slats that slide in the fence are also pretty common.

And let us not forget you could always make a living wall out of a chain-link fence by using it to trellis plants on it like: ficus pumila, star jasmine, and many different types of ornamental vines.
